Wedding Thank You Notes
One of the best parts of your wedding is
when you get to open your wedding gifts that you received from all of your friends and
family. The wedding gifts won’t be the most special part of the day, as the ceremony
will, but the wedding gifts are like icing on the cake!Sending wedding thank you notes to
the givers of the wedding gifts is only right so that you can show them how much you loved
their gift and appreciated the wedding gift. However, newlyweds dread this part!
A lot of the time, no wedding thank you notes are sent out at all and this is simply just
not right. Do you want your guests to feel that you didn’t like present? Of
course not!
Writing these wedding thank you notes can
be pretty easy; you just need to know the basic of such. There are just some general
guidelines to keep in mind that will help you along the way. It’s best if you use some of
the pre-printed wedding thank you cards that you can get at Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, or any
other stationary/craft store.

Or if you really want to go
far, you can order personalized wedding thank you notes, which possibly could allow your
picture to be imbedded on the back of the wedding thank you notes. It’s all up to
you as it’s your day!
Be sure to order a few more, you never know
when a new wedding gift may pop up at your doorstep!
When you are writing your wedding thank
you notes, it’s important to handwrite them. Sure, it’s a lot easy to stick them in
the printer and print them out, but handwritten wedding thank you notes will allow them to
feel more personal and the giver of the gift will feel that you appreciated the gift more.
So, what do you write? Be sure to
have the guest list and gifts received from each beside you as well as a list of their
addresses. Please see the example below:

| Dear Joe and Evelyn,
John and I really appreciate the silk
bedding set. It is very beautiful and we both adore it very much. We will be
sure to enjoy it for years to come. Thank you for celebrating our special moment
with us. It was a pleasure to have you at our wedding.
Best wishes,
John and Marie Cook
After writing your thank you notes, get
them in the mail immediately or you’ll forget and never send them out! Remember,
make them special and unique!
